The Narayana Pharmacy College library offers an extensive collection of pharmaceutical resources, including textbooks, research journals, and digital databases. It supports students and faculty with a conducive environment for study and research, providing access to the latest information in pharmaceutical sciences and fostering academic excellence.

The Institution provides Quality learning resources with the air-conditioned library for Students and Staff. Library occupies an area is 357 sq. meters with a capacity of 100, which is as per PCI norms.

The Narayana Pharmacy College library boasts a collection of 58 journals and magazines. This includes 16 international journals, providing global perspectives and research and 32 Indian journals, focusing on local advancements. Additionally, the library offers 10 magazines that keep students and faculty informed about current trends and industry news.

The Narayana Pharmacy College library features a separate Digital Library and Discussion Room, equipped with 10 and 8 computers, respectively and high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity (500 Mbps). The library holds 441 project reports and thesis books, 48 Offline journals, 180 Practice school reports, 196 Complimentary books, and 5 newspapers. Additionally, it offers 200 CDs covering various pharmacy specializations and 10 magazines. This extensive collection and modern facilities support students and faculty in their academic and research activities, ensuring access to a broad range of resources and technology for enhanced learning and collaboration.

TThe Narayana Pharmacy College library offers robust e-resource subscriptions, including access to 388 e-journals through DELNET, N-LIST (Shodhganga and Shodhsindhu), and KNIMBUS from JNTUA, along with 300 e-books. DELNET facilitates resource sharing among libraries through its network. N-LIST provides e-resources to students, researchers and faculty. Shodhganga and Shodhsindhu allow access to Indian thesis and dissertations. Additionally, the M-Library app on Google Play offers access to KNIMBUS’s database from JNTUA, providing students and faculty with a wide range of books and journals for enhanced academic research and study.

DO’S

  • 2. Spills can ruin books and attract pests.
  • 3. Writing, underlining or folding pages is not allowed.
  • 4. Use your phones discreetly on silent and only for study-related browsing.
  • 5. Keep your valuables with you at all times.
  • 6. Others might need them - always return books to their proper place or the return desk.
  • 7. Avoid visiting inappropriate or non–academic websites on library computers.
