seminar on “Indian Knowledge System (Ayurvedic)”

A seminar on “Indian Knowledge System (Ayurvedic)” was organized at Narayana Pharmacy College on 6th August 2025 at 12:00 PM in the auditorium. The session was delivered by Dr. Nidamanuri Manju Bhargavi, Professor, who shared her expertise on Ayurveda as a holistic system of medicine. She explained the types of Ayurvedic treatments based on the body system, Pancha Bhootha Maha Siddhanta, and Tridosha theory, emphasizing the scientific basis behind these traditional concepts. Dr. Bhargavi also discussed extraction methods in Ayurveda, comparing ancient practices with modern techniques, and highlighted how these methods enhance the efficacy of herbal formulations. The seminar showcased Ayurveda’s role in promoting balance between body, mind, and environment while addressing preventive and curative aspects of health. Students actively interacted during the session, gaining deeper insights into the significance of the Indian Knowledge System in present-day healthcare. Overall, the seminar was informative, inspiring, and well-received.
