Narayana Pharmacy College, Nellore, observed World Glaucoma Week from March 8th to 14th, 2026, to raise awareness about glaucoma and its prevention. The program featured an expert lecture by Dr. Ragella Sudha, Ophthalmologist and Eye Specialist from Narayana Medical College & Hospital. She highlighted the importance of early detection, regular eye check-ups, and timely treatment to prevent vision loss caused by glaucoma. The theme, “Uniting for a Glaucoma-Free World,” emphasized collective efforts in spreading awareness. Faculty members and students actively participated in the session, making the event informative and impactful, reinforcing the importance of eye health and preventive care in the community.
